In Greek, Soter means protector. We picked the name before we had a product, because it told us what we owed every rider.

In 2024, we started with a simple question: why do Indian riders have to choose between armor built for another country’s roads and armor that just looks the part?

We spent that year listening. We read rider forums, comment sections, and crash stories from YouTube to Instagram. We studied how protection is engineered and tested around the world.

So we designed Soter here, for here. We shaped it around Indian riders, Indian weather, and the way we really ride, from city traffic to open mountain roads.

Then we put it through the labs. Soter armor is tested and certified by laboratories like Intertek, Ricotest and other CE labs against applicable standards, e.g., EN 1621-1 / EN 1621-2, Level 1/2 etc. We don’t ask you to take our word for it.

In 2026, after two years of building, testing, and rebuilding, Soter is here.

We can’t promise a crash won’t happen. No armor can. What we promise is that every piece is designed with care, tested by people who don’t work for us, and made to give you the best chance of walking away.
